Built on capable platforms

Every Motorcraft build starts with a carefully selected base vehicle. Proven platforms such as the Toyota Land Cruiser sit alongside newer options like the INEOS Grenadier Quartermaster, chosen for their chassis strength, drivetrain capability and off-road ability.

Before the habitation build, each platform is driven off-road and evaluated under load. Suspension behaviour, axle articulation, approach and departure angles, and traction systems are assessed to ensure the finished camper performs as intended once fully equipped.

This testing informs every design decision that follows.

Lightweight engineering, intelligently applied

Weight control is fundamental to 3.5-tonne performance. Our habitation systems use lightweight composite construction to deliver strength and insulation without unnecessary mass.

Layouts are designed around balanced axle loading, keeping heavy components low and central to maintain predictable handling. Water, power, storage and living systems are integrated as part of the structure rather than added as aftermarket components.

The result is a compact expedition vehicle that remains stable, efficient and comfortable over long distances.

Designed for real off-road use

A shorter overall length, reduced rear overhangs and controlled ride height allow our 3.5-tonne vehicles to traverse terrain that quickly limits larger trucks. Combined with appropriate tyres and drivetrain specification, this delivers genuine off-road capability without excessive complexity.
