Something Exciting in the Works: Ford Ranger 3.5t Overland Camper

We've been busy in the workshop, and it's time to share what we've been working on. Here are the first concept sneak peeks of our latest project - the Ford Ranger 3.5t Overland Camper from Motorcraft Adventure Developments.

Compact Yet Capable

This build is all about smart design for overlanders who want serious capability without the compromises. It's compact and agile enough to drive on a standard licence, yet we've managed to pack in everything you need for proper adventure.

Our detailed renders show off the clever interior layout we've developed: comfortable seating that actually works, a compact galley kitchen with proper integrated storage, and a brilliantly designed wet room. Everything's been intelligently engineered into a unique, space-efficient body that makes the most of every millimetre.

Built on Proven Foundations

We've chosen the Ford Ranger as our base for good reason - it's got the reliability and off-road strength that serious overlanders demand. Add in Motorcraft's engineering expertise, and you've got a camper that's tough, practical, and genuinely ready for real adventure whilst still delivering the comfort you'll want on long road stretches.

Exciting times ahead as this project moves closer to reality. We can't wait to share more details as the build progresses, and we're already looking forward to seeing these out on the trails doing what they're built for.
