A Mercedes Vario 818DA 4x4 came into the workshop for a full custom overland body and subframe build. Well known for their rugged reliability, compact size and off-road capability, the Vario makes an ideal expedition platform. Our team designed and manufactured a bespoke insulated habitation body with an over-cab alcove, mounted to a heavy duty engineered subframe ready for long distance travel and off-grid adventures. With the fabrication work now complete, the truck is now back with the owner ready for the interior fit-out and final touches.
