When people first see an expedition truck, the question usually comes quickly:
“Why not just use a campervan or motorhome?”
It is a fair question. But expedition trucks exist for a completely different purpose.
They are not just campers with bigger tyres.
They are self-sufficient mobile bases designed for places where infrastructure disappears.
Motorhomes and caravans are built for comfort on the beaten path. Smooth roads, serviced pitches, predictable routes. They do that job very well.
Overlanding is built for something else entirely.
